Hospice provides compassionate care for individuals experiencing life-limiting illnesses and their families.

The end of life looks different for everyone, depending on the person’s preferences, needs and choices.

Hospice honors the individual and enables patients to live as fully as possible at life’s end and die with dignity and comfort — surrounded by those who love and care for them. While many hospice services can be delivered at home, in some situations that is not possible. When symptoms or circumstances require a 24-hour care team, Hope Hospice offers care in a warm, comforting and state-of-the-art environment. The center’s 12 patient care rooms are designed for individual comfort and privacy with abundant space for loved ones.

Care team members are available to help evaluate which hospice setting is most appropriate for individual and family needs and will consult on Medicare, insurance and all financial options available.

General Inpatient Hospice Care (GIP)

If a person’s symptoms require 24-hour professional nursing care, Hope Hospice can provide intensive care in a setting that is more appropriate than a hospital or home for general inpatient hospice (GIP) patients. In an environment that is warm and comforting, care team members deliver high-quality, continuous care, with ongoing assessment of individual needs and responsive adjustments to care strategies. Day and night, family members and friends of all ages are welcome while the patient receives around-the-clock clinical care. Hope Hospice also provides dedicated spaces for quiet contemplation or prayer and spaces that can accommodate multiple generations, including our gathering room, kitchen and dining room, indoor and outdoor children’s areas, and gardens. In this setting, families can stay close, sharing moments together — whether it’s enjoying a homemade meal or having a cup of coffee with both familiar faces and new friends.

Routine Hospice Care

Each end-of-life experience is shaped by an individual’s unique preferences, medical circumstances and personal choices. While some hospice patients may have limited support from caregivers at home, others may lack access to someone able to manage the demands of caregiving. Even the most dedicated caregivers can become overwhelmed by the intensity of care required. Routine hospice offers an alternative — providing individuals and their families with a compassionate environment where patients can spend their final days with dignity, comfort and the presence of loved ones.

Respite Hospice Care

As an individual’s illness advances, caregiving can evolve into a demanding, around-the-clock responsibility. Respite care provides short-term admission (up to five consecutive days) at Hope Hospice, allowing caregivers the opportunity to attend to their own well-being while ensuring their loved one continues to receive high-quality care. This temporary relief supports caregivers in maintaining their health and resilience, enabling them to continue delivering effective care at home.
